Cannot make DBD::Informix

System: AIX 4.2 Perl 5.005_03 DBI-1.13 already installed Digest-MD5-2.09 already installed After failure of `perl -MCPAN -e 'install Bundle::DBD::Informix', I successfully ran `perl Makefile.PL' in the DBD::Informix directory. However, the subsequent `make' failed for both DBD-Informix-0.97002 and DBD-Informix-0.97001. Having read the Informix DBD README, I rebuilt Perl, using cc instead of ld when creating shared libraries. (I don't know how to use cc to build shared libraries, but I entered `cc' instead of the default `ld' when the Perl Configure script asked me which program to use to build shared libraries.) The resulting Perl failed about 40% of the time when I subsequently ran `make test', so I backed off this approach and kept my previously built ld-made Perl binaries.
