Upgrade from OWS 7.22 to IDS 7.30 (NT and Unix) - What about ODBC ?

Hello, I made some reports (using Crystal Report V6 and V7) using Informix CLI 2.5 (from the OWS 7.22 distribution) which seems to come from Intersolv (release 2.12 as labelled in my 32bits ODBC manager) Deploying to an Informix Dynamic Server 7.30 (UC5 but I'm not sure) on NT or Unix (hope it doesn't matter) I find that the ODBC driver has changed to a 2.80 (from Informix !?!) and an Intersolv one (release 3.01.0007). Why do they provide 2 drivers ? I guess the Intersolv's one is the best but ... it's just a bet.

E.g. problems with role-based permissions with the Intersolv driver - no such problems with the Informix one. Ciao Fuzzy :-)
