Hello list.
Online 7.20 UC2
I want to change the logging status to NOLOG so I do:
ontape -s -L 0 -N mydbs
I got a message that logging status cannot be changed.
When I do
onstat -g sql
it doesnot show anything
When I do
omode -k
it show 0 userthreads.
So what could be the reason?
Looking up the database in sysmaster , sysdatabases I see;
is_logging 1
is_buff_log 1
is_ansi 0
is_nls 1
flags 19
so buffered and unbuffered logging at the same time?
What does this flags mean because the only thing I could find is that it has
something to do with logging.
Can anybody help or just give some more information ?
Thanks
Henk

is_logging tells whether database is logged or not.
is_buff_log tells whether logging is buffered or unbuffered
