My server is starting very slowly

Hi all, I need the opinion or helps of You. I have a SUN Ultra Enterprise 3500 with solaris 8, Veritas 5 and Informix 9.21. Until before installing Informix, the time that took restart my server has been always normal (4 minutes.), until we installed informix. At this moment, the time that took was approximately 40 minutes. Something peculiar happens here, seems that the problem is generated by Veritas because in this point the server take approximately 40 minutes to start. I don't have any error messages. We have uninstalled informix and the process returns to be normal (4 minutes)' something happens when we install Informix. Single I obtain these messages before standing the server: NOTICE VXVm vxdmp V-5-3-1700 dmpnode 184/0x0 there are migrate from enclosure FAKE_ENCLR_SNO to enclosure DISK NOTICE VXVm vxdmp V-5-3-34 added disk Array DISK, datype DISK NOTICE VXVm vxdmp V-5-3-34 added disk Array 5080020000080C58, datype the SEINE VxVM vxvm-starup2 INFO V-5-2-503 VxVM general starup --> the server takes aprox. 40 min in start <-- Somebody knows of some similar case? have you ever looked at what the engine is doing when it needs 40 minutes to start???? online.log file??? maybe have a look at i/o or an onstat -p..... could be normal behaviour when the database has to rollback a big transaction....
