I would have to say that if my company ran the TPC-C benchmark as our standard IT processing all of these numbers would mean a lot to me. Sort of like the row level locking debate (which of course row level locking makes load of sense.) Too bad that I live in the real world of de-normalized data, office politics and unrealistic performance expectations...
