AS ... syntax to create a separate, named, connection for the DLL. Then in all of the DLL routines, execute SET CONNECTION TO ... to the named connection at the beginning of the function and SET CONNECTION TO DEFAULT at the end of the functions. Then let the brain dead ODBC driver use the DEFAULT connection for its own work. Art S. Kagel
