Openlink announces ODBC driver for Informix on Linux
Posted in 1998
I got the reply below from Kingsley Idehen, the president of OpenLink Software, to my mail asking for a port of the OpenLink ODBC and JDBC drivers. This is great news for all those who want high quality drivers with unparalleled performance, security and other features far surpassing what Informix currently delivers. And all this with same day responce time and 14 days max to port. Also remember they will have a 2 user version of these drivers that are for free, downloadable from their web site http://www.openlinksw.com. It's a great company delivering first class products. I assume this will be only the first in a slew of different products beeing ported to Linux as a result of the Informix announcement.
