hi, I use ids 7.3 and replication between two identical servers master and = slave. sometimes when a record insert into master, the slave's interfaces file = gives an error; 0:18:22 CDR CDRDS: transaction aborted (All rows in a transaction = defined withrow scope were rejected) =20 =20 I predict that this error shows the inserted record in the master is = existing before in the slave. table structures are identical. it is understadable but I couldn't find which record is giving this = error .If I know, I delete the old record in the slave. is there any file or table these kind of records holding in the master = or slave? thanks. msert
Try using: cdr modify server --ats=dir --ris=dir server All failed transactions will be logged on dir. cdr modify server usage: cdr modify server [-i min] [-A dir] [-R dir] [-m p | r] [-l on|off] server -c server --connect=server connect to server -i min --idle=min idle timeout -A dir --ats=dir directory for Aborted Transaction Spool -R dir --ris=dir directory for Row Information Spool -m mode --mode=mode set server mode (primary or readonly) --------------------------------------------------------- Suggestion: Remove the log file after some time with crontab.. 0 * * * * find <dir> -ctime +10 -print -exec rm {} \\\\; >/dev/null 2>&1 Jairo ----- Original Message ----- From: "mustafa sert" <msert@meteor.gov.tr> To: <ids@iiug.org> Sent: Thursday, November 25, 2004 7:27 AM Subject: replication error [3777] hi, I use ids 7.3 and replication between two identical servers master and = slave. sometimes when a record insert into master, the slave's interfaces file = gives an error; 0:18:22 CDR CDRDS: transaction aborted (All rows in a transaction = defined withrow scope were rejected) =20 =20 I predict that this error shows the inserted record in the master is = existing before in the slave. table structures are identical. it is understadable but I couldn't find which record is giving this = error .If I know, I delete the old record in the slave. is there any file or table these kind of records holding in the master = or slave? thanks. msert
