IDS refuse connection on NT when connected to Internet?

The strangest thing; I just noticed that whenever I connect to Internet, I can't connect to my IDS 7.3.TC7 on NT (connection refused - Agent_log: Attempt to connect to database server (%s) failed.) As soon as I disconnect from internet, connect works. But IECC does not work (Server discovery failed) until I restart the server? Help? If you are normally connected to an IP network, make sure there is an entry with your host name and IP address. Otherwise, add an entry with your host name and 127.0.0.1. Bashar Chalabi CTL, London

Yes, I thought about this, but: 127.0.0.1 localhost 202.36.194.30 csichoa #CSI NT in ChCh 127.0.0.1 armada #this laptop and sqlhosts (setnet32) is using name armada to define the server. And, connection is not impossible, or..., it is refused? >Bashar Chalabi >CTL, London > > Yours, Andrej Falout, Product Manager, CSI Ltd New Zealand www.maximise.co.nz afalout@csi.co.nz ICQ 7628616 ++64 21 607517 #----------------------------------------------------------------- globals "std_disclaimer.4gl" "Generally, I upset people the first time they hear me, but usually I am able to convince them of what I am doing." - Maria Callas
I tried doing what you suggested, but to no avail. I get the message : SQL Error (-908) Attempt to connect to database server (ol_dbserver) failed. It works fine when I disconnect from the WWW. Any and all help would be appreciated.
