Most likely, the trouble relates to the installation order. Did you install SE first or last? It should have been last, under both the Rule of TEN (Tools, Engines, Network) and on the basis that 7.22 comes after 6.0x. (Both criteria are slightly over-simplified, but they work in many situations, including this one.) If that isn't the problem, check your environment. If that isn't the problem either, you may have a bug; you'd probably need to go to Informix Tech Support, and you'd definitely need to include platform information -- if you include that in a question, someone might be able to say "Ah hah; yes, I ran into that and ... was what it took to fix it".
