1.5 TB Warehouse: Informix or DB2/MVS?

Hi, One of my customers is planning to build a 1.5TB Warehouse containing telecommunication data. They want to keep about 700 million 80 byte record per day, summarize this in one month and have (probably) only the last month as history to compare. (1) Has anyone expierience with handling 50 GB added data per day - there won't be much cleansing / reformatting but the data has to be loaded / moved to DB2/MVS and/or Informix? (2) They plan to query that data from about 30 region locations, having "regional" data (50 GB per month each). Which of the three scenarios would be recommended: (a) Have one DB2/MVS copy and remote query access (b) Have (a) and local copies in Informix (c) Have local copies in Informix only Any expieriences with these amount of data would be very welcome! Their information need points very much to OLAP / MDDBs, but even 50GB seems a bit too much for anything else but R-OLAP.
