I didn't know there was a difference in operation, but it must be the
other way round, because I have found dbaccess databasename script to
continue on errors whereas interactive mode does not. You can of course
use the environment variable DBACCNOIGN.
In any event, you do not need the third place holder, the following
should suffice:
dbaccess databasename <script.whatever
Unless that has a third effect on errors. :-)
