Do you mean:
1. Start some program.
2. Start typing sql statements.
3. Have them executed and see any results.
That's interactive to me and just what dbaccess does.
If you want to execute them from a file dbaccess can easily do that as
well. Just check the manual at http:\\\\www.informix.com\\answers.
