Sometimes they display...sometimes they don't

This one has me really puzzled and I've run out of things to look at. I have not had extensive experience with Informix, so I don't know if this is (or is not) related to the Informix environment. We have just migrated a client from SCO UNIX 3.2v4.2 to SCO Open Server 5. All seems to be ok with their INFORMIX-SQL Version 4.11.UC1 application except that when "isql" is run, and the user selects Forms, the displayed list is missing some files. This is also true with listing SQLs and reports, as well as some of the database names. If the user remembers the name of the form and types it in, it runs fine. Now here is where it gets strange. I was told by the local sysadmin that some users claim that they see some files in their list at certain times of the day, but some are missing at other times. The next day the missing ones are displaying again! Wierd or what? This is starting to smell like some environment memory resource being depleted at certain times and not able to display everything. This version of the OS has many of the kernel parameters dynamic, so they expand as more is needed. Has anyone ever seem this sort of behavior? -- ____ _ _ ___ Bill Irwin bill@twg.bc.ca (_ _) ( \\/\\/ ) / __) UNIX & Network )( ) ( ( (_-.
