7.20 4ge programs won't run on 7.32

I'm trying to move some 4GL programs from SCO to Linux. The SCO
version that is currently running the compiled .4ge programs is
Informix 4GL 7.20 UD6. I've copied the .4ge programs to my Linux box
which is running Informix 4GL 7.32.UC3, but I can't run any of the
programs. I don't have the 4GL source code so recompiling on the Linux
box is not an option. If I try and run a .4ge program from i4gl I get
this error:
-825 Program not found.
No supporting executable file could be located. The file should have
existed in the directory that the INFORMIXDIR environment variable
names. Consult the person who installed the IBM Informix software.
If I run it from the command line I get this:
$ txmenu.4ge
-bash: ./txmenu.4ge: No such file or directory
I can compile a small test program on Linux and it runs
main
display "Hello World!"
end main
Is there anyway I can get these .4ge programs to run without
recompiling?

The idea is fairly far fetched, really. the only thing they have in common is
the cpu - you are talking of binaries compiled with different 4gl versions,
and hence using a different 4gl runtime library, on a different operating
system, hence with not necessarely compatible shared library file formats
(actually, on the specific case they are, but that's beside the point)
different kernel calls implementation, and different interface to the kernel.
But wait, there's some hope: iBCS is your friend. However it hasn't been
maintained/stopped working/whatever for quite some time, and it always had
issues with tcp connectivity anyway. Wander to my Informix on Linux pages to
see how to do it. You might be lucky and find that it still work (although I
doubt it)

Almost certainly not using 7.32 -- but you might get away with installing
the 7.20 4gl compiler on Linux.
Tech Support will just laugh, I'm sure.
Albeit politely.
