what does this mean????

HI to all: I have a pool of machines to watch and , lots of informix server's but in two particular machines i have this message on the log 13:05:03 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 0 seconds. 13:35:22 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 0 seconds. 13:55:56 VP Notify mechanism incomplete after 5 minutes. This can bedue to slo w network file access. Will try 12 more times 14:00:57 VP Notify mechanism incomplete after 5 minutes. This can bedue to slo w network file access. Will try 11 more times This two machines are HP-9000 with HP-UX 11.0 and both are T models with 1gb of memory , and when this message apears on the log the server just froze and do not respond to any user, even the onmonitor program don't get work , so i have to implement some operations that i don't like to get this server runnig again, the worst is i don't find a description on the manuals of this kind of message, but this happens with only one server on this machine , because a have several on this T-models and the others a working OK, i pressume this have relation with the soc vp's but i try to take down this vp, with onmode , still is no possible . So i will appreciate any cooment on this situation that can help me to understand what is happen i have INFORMIX 7.31.UC2X8

Internally there is a VP notify mechanism to synchronise the VP's. This has stopped working indicating that at least one VP has stopped responding. Log it with Informix Tech Support. -- David Williams
