Hello
I have problems with the environment variable DBDATE, when accessing a INFORMIX-SE databse through
ODBC and I-Net. (ODBC=Informix CLI, I-Net=Informix Net 5.01.WF2)
When reading a date variable from INFORMIX into a application i want to convert to dateformat
(DBDATE = Y4MD0) to get the result (19961231).
I have entered the settings DBDATE = Y4MD0 in setnet utility and the settings are correctly written
to the informix.ini file in my windows directory.
The database is an INFORMIX-SE 7.1 on SCO UNIX and when I use dbaccess and the UNIX environment variable
DBDATE = Y4MD0 i get the correct result in a query.
How do i get the correct settings when my ODBC application makes a SQLConnect ?
Is the problem on the client or on the server ?
Shall the UNIX deamon sqlexecd be started with some sort of configuration file ?
Is there any environment variable that shall be set with the SQLAllocEnv ?
Please I need help.
