Hi, I have a stand allown xp workstation configured with the informix 3.10 ODBC drivers and I have been unable to run the following command in a visual c++ program: SQLSetConnectAttr I'm trying to set the read mode to SQL_ATTR_TXN_ISOLATION, however when the command runs I get an error telling me that the command is not supported by the drivers, however here comes the twist, I can run the same program on a win2K machine using the same drivers and all is well. Can anyone suggest a reason why or a work around? Thanks Rob

I am going through a major hassle trying to get a working version from IBM. They gave us clientsdk.2.90.TC1 which is no better. We use MS Access. I downloaded a trial of OpenLink and DataDirect ODBC drivers and have had no issues with them. We are probably going to switch to OpenLink since they offer a read only option when installing the drivers. Gary Quiring

Try accessing a table with a sort where the query will not use an index in Access. It fails every time. The same query will work in Excel but on Access will not. Using the non IBM drivers work fine.
