Well it appears that either Sun or Informix has a problem. When building an application under Solaris 2.2 and aren't using the Sun unbundled compiler you get the following errors Unresolved ftime in rdtime.o _cg92_used uqcursor.o Informix says that to resolve these one must use the /usr/ucb/cc which just sets up some path info and calls Sun's compiler. The cg92 problem one has to put a hard code path to the unbundled library. Doesn't this seem that Informix is forcing its client base into using sun compiler, unless they intend on fixing this in the next release. This is just an observation after spending three hours on this problem and wondering why the hell it linked fine on SunOS using the same gnu compiler. Then calling Informix and them telling me "Oh, you need to use the Sun Compiler". Anybody else run into this with gnu or any other C++ compilers? /*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*/ /* Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed.*/ /* - Darth Vader */ /*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*/ Robert Ogren Telesis Technologies Laboratory 390 N.
