Elham Not sure about why it works with the space in it either. Bringing up the sqlexecd is a given. I didn't even find this one out myself. I found this after several frustrating attempts to connect using JDBC to my SE database on my Linux machine at home, and asking in cdi in desperation. It used to give my -908 (AFAI remember) without the space, and with the space it does not. Go figure! I'm not sure what the spacing in your login path has to do with anything...
