Hello, How can i import to Informix from a database FoxPro. I have some aplications in County that run on FoxPro, and we want migrate the whole structure to Informix,of curse I can recreate the table with the new types of data accepted by informix, then to load all the data, but does exist any informix tool that transform this in automatic without making so much work...? Is there a way to unload the data in FoxPro to a flat file??
You'll still have to create the tables by hand, but use ODBC. I did this a couple of years back, using Access. ODBC from Access to FoxPro and in the same Access database ODBC to Informix, then it's just a straightforward Access query.
