IDS 7.30.UC7 on HP-UX 10.20 ignores RESIDENT settings

Hi InforMixers,
i detected the following 'feature' with IDS 730.UC7 on HP-UX 10.20
(all recommended patches installed):
With KAIO
All shm-segment are in fact resident. We have a test-machine with
128MB memory. IDS-SHM (resident + first virtual) is approx. 80MB.
IDS is unable to get an additional segment whether RESIDENT is
set to 1 or 0 and not surprisingly with -1.
online.log: hpkaioaddseg: ASYNC_ADDSEG failed, errno = 12 (ENOMEM)
Without KAIO
None of the segment is identified as resident by 'onstat -g seg',
whether RESIDENT is set to -1,0,1,2 and we are now able to add
additional segments.
Release Notes (20.b.) is pointing in this direction ( not saying
that residency isn't available without KAIO).
My question to the HP/Informix-community:
Is this behaviour corrected with a newer release of IDS and/or HP-UX?
Thanks in advance
martin
It does work correctly on HP-UX 11.00:
$ onstat -g seg
Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.30.UC7 -- On-Line -- Up 10 days 08:13:48 --
748480 Kbytes
Segment Summary:

(* segment locked in memory)
$ onstat -c | grep RESIDENTRESIDENT -1 # Forced residency flag (Yes = 1, No = 0)
