OSDA Fall Conference

Here we are in beautiful Cocoa Beach - smack on the Atlantic Ocean. The weather is gorgeous - 76 degrees, the ocean is so refreshing. The balcony door to the beach is open and I can hear the waves washing up as I type this. But enough of that for now. Our Conference started off with a bang yesterday with the 6 hour Omnis-Studio Class, which ended up being an 8 hour class. The comments were "Unbelievable - exciting - fantastic" The class was overflowing and when time ran out, most of the class moved to a smaller room to continue for another 2 hours. Although Jeff Spicer, Omnis Technology Corporation, had a temperature and was losing his voice, he conducted a wonderful class. Introduction to Basic, taught by Chuck Barouch of Comprehensive Computer Systems was a hands-on class and highly successful. Today the classes begin in the afternoon giving delegates time to walk the beach, take a swim, go to church, or just hang out. The Vendor Exhibit Hall will be open at 2:00 PM, so anyone reading this who is in the area may want to drop by to visit. We're at the Doubletree Oceanfront Hotel, across the street from Publix. Just stop by the Registration Desk for a nametag, please. Looks like we'll have a full moon for our big Networking Poolside dinner tonight right by the ocean. Hope to see you in the Spring.
