Well, I'd hoped not to have to dig into structures to find out what kind of data was passed both ways. What i'd like is an API more like this: result = exec_sql( connection, "any type of sql query;" ); if( num_rows( result ) ) { while( (row = get_row( result )) != NULL ) { printf( "Col 1: %s\\n", row[0] ); printf( "Col 2: %s\\n", row[1] ); } } Does anyone know of something like this freely available? If not, I'll just have to make it, I guess...
