I see -1226 is "decimal value exceeds maximum precision".
It's probably a long shot, but I once had a problem with a database which
had long CHAR type columns. The users had put newline characters in the
data, which dbexport (4.xx) incorrectly stored with the same character as
the column delimiter. (5.00-on correctly uses CONTROL-N). Thus, dbimport
couldn't make any sense of the exported data - I just got "no. of values
not equal to no. of columns". Perhaps in your case this is happening and
dbimport is trying to put the wrong value into the decimal column.
Just a wild guess, but who knows.
If this *is* what it is, try setting DBDELIMITER to something else (TAB
for example) and see if that works.
