You can use this script get an clean data output:
dbaccess sysmaster -<<EOF 2>/dev/null | grep -v ^$ | grep -v name
select name from sysdatabases
where name not in ( "sysmaster", "sysutils" )
order by 1;

Does this runs on a text environment?
I've read some papers that shows grafical interface when running "dbaccess"
command.
