Due to extensive use of I4GL (both RDS, Compiler), you should double cross-check Fourgen versions with your Informix-4GL version also. Trust me, I am speaking from pain-taking experiences. To answer your question, I had some problem in $fg/lib/c_lib.4gs/mkrunners under Sun Sparc 20 Model 61 -- Sun OS 4.1.3 Informix 6.0x 4GL-RDS 6.x +) problem with c_getkey() (C function calling from Informix) this is a Informix BUGs. No problem with, Sun Sparc 20 Model 61 -- Solaris 2.5 Informix 5.03UC4 and I-4GL 4.12.UE3 4gen Enterprise version 4.12UC1 & or Informix 7.12 and I-4GL6.01UD3 (DO NOT USE I4GL 6.02) 4gen Enterprise 4.1 After all, mkrunners builds 4gen custom runners(fglgo and fgldb), then what ?. You can make "mkrunners" compiled and and generated 4gen custom runners...However, you'll soon face other BUGs and incompabilities between 4gen and Informix.
