Assuming SQLSTATE is the same as sqlca.sqlcode we test for -239 for duplicate records. We also test for the isam error -100 sqlca.sqlerrd[1] i think (in 4GL it's sqlca.sqlerrd[2]). I don't know the code for insufficient space, but all this is in TFM. There are several other things you would have to test for as well. Also make sure you test explisitly for 0 as success. There might be positiv numbers as well that means something different. At least there are positiv numbers in the documentation. I don't know about the folowing, but do make sure the group gets to know any solutions you find. :2. While compiling the demo ESQL/Cobol program (demo2.cob) it gives : the error "eco_conn" not found in /drive/directory. We are not able : to compile any ESQL-Cobol program.
