ESQL\\C on Linux errors...
Posted in 1999
Hello all! Just installed IDS (7.3) Suite for Linux (RedHat 6.0/Kernel 2.2.5). Installed IDS, I-Connect and the Client SDK. Everything installed w/o errors. I went on to compile a small test app. in ESQL\\C and it compiled w/o errors. When I run it, it gives an error referring to the fact that it cannot find "libifsql.so". I added the path to the ESQL\\C lib directory ($INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql) during compile with the the -I option but to no avail. Has anybody seen something similar? Any suggestions, comments will be greatly appreciated. Here is the screen capture.
