use onpload {HPL}. Remember to tune etc/plconfig.std. Before doing this we turn the logging mode from unbuffered to no logging, we increase checkpoint intervals but nevertheless load takes a very long time. Does IDS 7.* already has the High Perfomance Loader (I guess no)?
