Informix online and SUN -Runaway Processes

Is anyone else having problems running informix-online on a SPARC. (4/490) We keep on having our sparc chew up cycles on runaway processes because somebody closes a window without exiting from informix ... ie the pipes break and informix does not catch the signal. I have been on Informix's case about this for over 9 months. They finally admit it's a problem, but tell me it's all SUNs fault. I told them it's their fault for not handling signals properly. I am waiting for them to decide to fix it -do we have any more takers out there that can add fuel to this fire to help informix off its ass and into something resembling customer service?? --- Mail to me -I will post a short summary including count and site.
