Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi Walker!
There is a library called dbtools.h, which you can use to connect directly
to INFORMIX without the need of ODBC drivers.

Asunto: Something lower level than esql avail? C API?
Is there any sort of "direct access" API out there for Informix? I'd
much prefer that over esql or ODBC (I think). I'm developing an
application using C++ (so I guess C API would be fine). Any feedback
would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
