how do u drop a chunk by force in IDS 7.31
use the onspaces -d command. You'll have to provide other parameters
such as the path, but it's fairly easy. Make sure no dbspaces are
allotted to the chunk and you shouldn't have a problem.

I wish outer space guys would conquer the Earth and make people their
pets, because I'd like to have one of those little beds with my name on
it.
The chunk status is ...PD... which means primary down. The onspaces -d can
not drop the chunk.
