Yes. I think, you should create header table invoice_tab with columns (inv_no, invoice_spec_stuff) and detail one orders_tab (inv_no, order_no, order_spec_stuff). Table orders_tab references invoice_tab. The reason is to avoid storing invoice_spec_stuff multiple times. If it is impossible for any reason, you would generate code with two tables mentioned above and then use ext files to handle code to work your way (functions llh_read, llh_add, llh_update, llh_delete, lld_read, lld_add, lld_delete...), or just delete these functions and write your own ones. I prefer the second way. : Additionally, I am relatively new to Fourgen. I has been working with FOURGEN for a year and I really don't like it. It's good to learn 4GL, but it shows its limitations when you try to develop *real* application. : Thanks in advance for any help! : -Todd : Todd Bernhardt : Programmer : Willamette Industries, Inc. : Portland, OR 97225 : (503) 227-5581 : -- : Richard Shannon : cpilot@teleport.COM : Todd Bernhardt : cpilot@teleport.COM -- Zdeno Miklas e-mail: ash@softec.sk SOFTEC spol. s r. o. phone : 42-7-273805 ext.128 Kutuzovova 23 fax : 42-7-272537 831 01 Bratislava SLOVAKIA
