Mark, Nice to know that Oracle folks are actively monitoring informix news groups. I guess since you responded to this statement you must have felt treatened by the facts. Your statement about all the products being around for at least a decade is correct, but Informix is the only one that completely rewrote their software in that period of time, providing for cleaner code and a much more modular method of adding functionality.
