onbar

hi, i try to use onbar to backup my informix 9.40 instances with TSM. when i backup manually all works fine, but when i do it by cron, i encounter two types of error : on one instance i have in the bar_act.log : 2005-06-17 09:33:00 352242 21878 /informix/bin/onbar_d -b -L 0 2005-06-17 09:33:00 352242 21878 BAR_XFER_BUF_SIZE exceeded maximum allowed limit. Changing buffer size to 61440. 2005-06-17 09:33:03 352242 21878 Begin level 0 backup rootdbs. 2005-06-17 09:33:03 352242 21878 XBSA Error (BSAInit): An unspecified XBSA error has occured: 406 2005-06-17 09:33:05 352242 21878 /informix/bin/onbar_d complete, returning 406 (0x196) => i don't understand where is the error... on the second instance i have : 2005-06-17 10:50:00 37818 7556 /informix/bin/onbar_d -b -L 0 2005-06-17 10:50:00 37818 7556 Unable to open connection to database server: IBM Informix Dynamic Server Stopped.. 2005-06-17 10:50:00 37818 7556 /informix/bin/onbar_d complete, returning 151 (0x97) => the server is on-line.i verified the environnement, and it's good. => i set BAR_DEBUG to 9 and i see that onbar is opening the right instance. => why does it see the server Stopped ? thanks

The cron for informix will launch jobs for you as informix, But the cron will not set the environment for you.
