Are these >fgl_xxx wrapper functions provided by Informix or do I have to write it? They are not standard Informix provided functions, which is why the linker can't find them. Therefore, you have to provide them. However, you seem to have a good idea that they are defined, so you should be able to find the source code without too much difficulty. There is code in the IIUG archives (http://www.iiug.org) which do more or less what you're after, but none have exactly the names you are seeking. If you made up the names by putting fgl_ in front of selected C functions, then you're going to have to invent the code to go into those routines too. I4GL does not provide an interface to all C functions -- in fact, about the only one which is supplied is fgl_getenv(). >If I have to write it where do find various STACK manipulation >functions. Ah. They *are* in the Informix-provided libraries. You'll need the popxyz() and retxyz() families of routines. They are declared in fglsys.h; if you haven't got that header, you need to upgrade. >PS: Informix manual on Adv. Inf. $GL programming for version 5.X is not >much help. Could you give a more precise reference? There is no 5.x version of the I4GL manuals, and I don't immediately recognize Advanced Informix 4GL programming. Is it one of the Prentice-Hall titles?
