This may be related:
I ran into a conflict with compiles due to an AIX include file that uses
"loc_t" in a locale definition. Since we're not working with multiple
locales, we got around the problem by adding "-D_H_LOCALEDEF" in the cc
section of the /etc/xlc.cfg file.
