I don't use ACE, and only use PERFORM occasionally. (I do almost everything
in I4GL.) Therefore, there may be quirks to those specific products that
I don't know about.
Having said that, I now suggest that you su to the table owner and use
ISQL or DBACCESS to execute the statement
GRANT SELECT ON table_name TO PUBLIC;
If any views are involved in your queries, then you should do the same
thing for each view, and for each table underlying the views.
