Can I modify the -ss related options which appear in a dbexport schema
file (extent sizes, in particular) and then safely dbimport? We're
using IDS 7.24 UC8 on Solaris 6/7.

Extent sizes : Yes.
Rudy
Yes, and I prefer this method to make many changes in database structure
(extent sizes,locking mode,
user privileges ) at once; but table headers (number of rows, unload file
name etc) should not be touched.
The limiting factors are disk/tape space and database downtime duration.
Hope this helps,
Sergey
