Re: Config I/Net to DNS
Posted in 1997
Is there any spesific reason why you have to use Informix connectivity software? The only one I know of is to be able to run NewEra with "native" access. Most everything else can run via ODBC with better performance, more functionality and much less hasle. Check the FAQ for real ODBC drivers that don't use I-Net. Any additional costs will be vastly offset by less administration problems. You may even save on direct costs. sromankiw@execrisk.com (Steve Romankiw) wrote: :We are in the process of implementing Domain Named Services (DNS) into :our environment.
