Re: Help - Informix RDS 4GL 7.20

I've had major problems with strings in 7.2. It's not just globals either - I've had strings truncating and I've had (stil got) core dumps. I've worked around some of the problems I've identified (for example LET gv_str = gv_arr[1].str truncates but LET gv_str[1,80] = gv_arr[1].str works fine ) The above problem was with globals but it still occurred when I moved them to module variables. I've had core dumps caused by local variable problems as well. The problems go away when I move the code to small programs.
