ISM Disable save set & OnBar

Hi all
The Informix onbar is now working with my ISM, but I have a small
problem with ISM - I think.
If i create 3 archives with 'onbar -b -w' and disable the 1. and the
3. in ISM. I then run 'onbar -r' to restore the 2. archive.
The result is, that the 3. archive is restored and the disable flags
in ISM are removed without my help ! This was not what I wanted - I
wanted the 2. archive.
Is this a bug or.... ?

I believe that what is happening is that OnBar is deciding which copy to
restore and "demanding" that version from the storage manager.
OnBar stores the backup information in two places:
ixbar.0 in $INFORMIXDIR/etc and
several tables in the sysutils database (bar_action, bar_instance, etc.)
So, if you are doing a cold restore, you can edit ixbar.0 to remove the
backups that are newer than the version you wish to restore. If you just
remove the archive records and leave the log backup records in place, OnBar
will restore the appropriate version and then apply the logical logs (unless
you skip logical restore).
HTH,
Doug

Thanks a lot Doug
I changed to onbar -b -L0 and to restore: onbar -r -t "time_stamp"
