Help: Cant drop table ! Why ? What to do ?

Hello , I got an informix 5.43 and want to drop a table. But i got the error 242. I have been root and has DBA priviliges. Can you say what is wrong. Another question concerning it is : Can i drop a table manualy out of of the systemtables, when i delete all insert concerning this table ?
