Based on the error message, I assume that you have date value stored in CHAR/VARCHAR column and you want to get the same in ODBC DATE structure (i.e. SQL_DATE_STRUCT). What's the date format in which value is stored in CHAR/VARCHAR column? What's the DBDATE variable set to in your application environment? In ODBC default DATE format is Y4MD- -Shesh "Knox, Ernest" <eknox@searshc.com> Sent by: ids-bounces@iiug.org 13/02/2008 22:29 Please respond to ids@iiug.org To ids@iiug.org cc Subject RE: Informix ODBC Driver Error. What does your SQL look like? If you have string constant date values you may want to think about using MDY or equivalent. -- -------------------------------------------- Chris Salch Programmer/Analyst LeTourneau University
