Re: Lost german sharp s with IUS and Java

Hi Wolfgang, in Amerika braucht man keine Umlaute und kein scharfes "s" :-)) Vermutlich sind aber die Umgebungen zwischen Eurem Server und der Applikation nicht auf eine einheitliche Umgebung eingestellt. Da gibt es in "dbaccess" so einen Menuepunkt, "Databases"->"Info". Die Spracheinstellung spielt hier wohl eine wichtige Rolle. Da muss man irgendwie in der Applikation die gleiche Umgebung haben. Ich weiss zumindest, dass sich der Informix-Support hier super auskennt - ggf. auch der SNI-Informix-Support - weil die immer mit Umlauten zu tun haben.
