doing a Level 0 restore with ontape under Linux

Hello, I am trying to get 'ontape -r' to work. I did a Level 0 archive with 'ontape -s -L 0'. I did this while the database server was online, but inactive. I then took the informix server to 'offline', and tried to do a ontape -r . nothing happens, I have to hit control-c to get the prompt back. I have read the ontape book cover to cover. From what I can tell I am doing it right I am running on Linix on 2.2.16 kernel. The server has been running fine uptil now!! Thanks for any help! -Lach
