Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hello,
This error (" listener-thread: err = -27001: oserr = 0: errstr = : Read
error occurred during connection attempt.") occurs each day with a certain
regularity.
Our site is a web site where users connect through tlitcp via tcp socket to
a IDS 2000 server on Sun Solaris 7.
Whatever the number of simultaneous connections (from 25 to 300) this kind
of error occurs each day.
Is there anyone who may help us to find the reason why?

First type finderr 27001
Read what it says.
Next you _may_ want to carry out some of the actions.
My personal feeling is that since you've got a lot of webby connections
it may be simply that client have aborted the connection before informix
has had an opportunity to complete the request. In other words you may
need to do nothing.
I see loads of these on an oltp instance and have been unable to stop
them happening, no one seems to be complaining and informix support
simply re-iterate the contents of finderr 27001.
Hate seeing them in the logs though....
