Hi! After upgrading ESQL/C to 9.21 UC1, we were getting a linking error. It complained missing function "_iqrollback" in $INFORMIXDIR/incl/esql/sqlhdr.h file. In the old version ESQL/C 7.20, this function existed. After commenting this function out from our Makefile, the linking was successful. My question is - (1) what this function "_iqrollback" was used for ? (2) is there any replacement function for it? if there is, where is the function? if there is not, why not? I don't know much about ESQL/C. I would appreciate detailed explanations if possible. Many Thanks, Jenny. If you did not recompile, do so. If you did recompile, your code is making unwarranted (and now demonstrably erroneous) assumptions about the internals of ESQL/C. Find the function call and replace it with an ESQL/C statement -- EXEC SQL ROLLBACK WORK; Sih Jenny wrote: > After upgrading ESQL/C to 9.21 UC1, we were getting a linking error.
