We've been trying to do exactly the same thing. When I got this error, the REMSQL was not running (i.e., TSR). But when it was running, and when we try to access the database, the Q+E hangs. We are currently running ipx/spx version 1.2. Informix says that they only support version 3.xx or later. A second call to Informix says that I-NET PC 4.1 does not even support ipx/spx. Why the run around?
